Daily, and Lew Temple. The film revolves around five caival workers’ survival playing a game called “31” while evading murderers known as “The Heads” dressed as clowns that have names that define their unique personalities.

A man who identifies himself as ‘Doom-Head’ enters a undisclosed room in building who delivers a monologue to a tied up priest named Victor before brutally murdering him with an axe and walking away.

On October 31, 1976, a group of caival workers are seen traveling in a RV on rural grounds before stopping at a gas station for gas and while there Roscoe, the group’s mechanic meets a woman who flirts with him and makes ambiguous remarks about where leaving to next. The night enters as the group see a set of scarecrows who await them in the middle of the road before the scarecrows reveal themselves to be hulking men as they attack and kill the other caival workers in the van before kidnapping a handful of them who are left alive – Charly, Roscoe, Levon, Panda, and their tour manager Venus. They’re taken to a strange, large compound, where three strange people wearing aristocratic clothes, powdered wigs and make up, force them to play “31”. The remaining caival workers are also revealed to be in shackles and wearing numbered bracelets, describing their survival chances then they are informed that for the next 12 hours they must wander through a maze-like set of rooms where they must survive attempts by several people who the three identify them as the ‘Heads’ (including a Nazi-inspired spanish speaking midget named Sick-Head who greets them), as they intent on torturing and murdering them.
